If you could only attend one conference this year, what would it be?

Strange loop – Sep 15-17, 2016, Peabody Opera House, St. Louis MO.
A multi-disciplinary conference that brings together the developers and thinkers building tomorrow’s technology in fields such as emerging languages, alternative databases, concurrency, distributed systems, security, and the web.

Lean Agile Scotland – was October 7-9 in Edinburgh Scotland.
3 day event that covers the usual broad range topics taking a holistic view of what it takes to make great software products. Plus it’s a fun place to visit.

Agile 2016 – July 25-29, 2016, Atlanta, GA.
This annual North American conference is dedicated to furthering Agile principles and providing a venue for people and ideas to flourish. This is where the Agile tribes meet.

LEI Lean Transformation Summit – March 17-18, 2016, Las Vegas, NV.
thinkers from dozens of industries, at every stage of their journey, gather at the Lean Transformation Summit to learn, share, and network. Good mix of new and seasoned professionals.

Don Reinertsen’s Second Generation Lean Product Development: Applying the Principles of Flow – 2 day workshop. None listed yet for 2016 calendar. Monitor his website for upcoming 2016 events.

Washington state government lean conference – was Oct 20-21, 2015.
Share ideas and inspiration about using Lean thinking in government. Attendees deepen their understanding of Lean principles and tools in dozens of sessions led by local and national leaders in Lean.

Agile Roots – was June 18-20, 2015 in South Jordan, Utah
Empowered teams accomplishing amazing results. Workplaces filled with courage, laughter, and working software. True partnership between business professionals, technology professionals, and customers.

Agile coach camp US West – April 15-17, 2016, Irvine Ca
over one hundred coaches from around the globe convene in the majestic foothills of Southern California for three days of Agile exploration.

Agile coach camp US East – was August 1-2, 2015, Washington DC
People come together around a high-level topic or need and create their own agenda; then people gather into groups to brainstorm, debate, collaborate, co-create, plan, play, tell stories, and discuss the topics proposed on the agenda, known as the marketplace.

Alterconf – 3 conferences in 2016 so far, Minneapolis, D.C. and Cape Town
a traveling conference series that provides safe opportunities for marginalized people and those who support them in the tech and gaming industries. By highlighting the powerful voices and positive initiatives of local community members, we build hope and strengthen the community’s resolve to create safer, healthier spaces for everyone.

Product Camp Seattle – was Oct 25, 2015 at Impact Hub, Seattle
a participant-driven, collaborative unconference on topics related to Product Management, Product Strategy, and Product Marketing. Any participant can present a topic or run a group discussion.
